Poetry: If I told you that I love you

If I told you that I love you without knowing you, would you believe ?
If I told you that I am thrilled to see you, would you lean on me ?
If I told you that I love you even if you take the wrong side of the road, would you come back to me ?
Would you love me too?
It's alright, I'll say it anyway, 
because it is the truth,
I love you.

Sobre el amor

Puedo hablar en lenguas de hombres y hasta de ángeles (malajim), pero si me falta amor, simplemente me he vuelto como bronce que resuena o platillo que retiñe. Puedo tener el don de profecía, puedo comprender los misterios, conocer todas las cosas, tener toda la fe suficiente para mover montañas, pero si no tengo amor, nada soy. Puedo regalar todo lo que poseo, puedo hasta entregar mi cuerpo para ser quemado, pero si me falta amor, nada soy. El amor es paciente y bondadoso, no celoso ni jactancioso. No se engría, no es rudo o egoísta, no se irrita fácilmente y no mantiene un registro de lo malo, no guarda rencor. El amor no se goza de las injusticias de otros, sino su delicia es la Verdad. El amor todo lo soporta, siempre confía, siempre aguarda esperanzado, siempre resiste. El AMOR NUNCA TERMINA, pero las profecías pasarán, las lenguas cesarán y el conocimiento pasará, porque nuestro conocimiento es parcial y nuestra profecía parcial, mas cuando lo Perfecto venga lo parcial pasará.
